founder and managing director at magnet.me
What is your answer when someone you've never met asks you, "What do you do?"
I founded a start-up when I was in university and we're now changing the way students find their dream job in two countries.
What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?
I didn't want to go down the usual route of landing a traineeship or a job at a consultancy firm. I wanted to make an actual impact and change something for the better.
What are your shortcuts to successfully handle frustration and stress?
One: talk (and joke!) about it with co-founders, two: go for a run, three: take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
What habits help you in staying focused and productive?
I like to go for a 5k run early in the morning before going to the office to start the day with an energy boost. Also, I like to hit the gym from 5-6pm to get an extra energy boost and stay productive in the evenings.
If you were to write a book about yourself, how would you name it?
"Fries, sushi and a white boxershort with blue stripes"
What are your hidden inspiration sources? How do you generate new ideas?
I listen to a lot of audiobooks (when cycling to work or when going for a run) and I read a lot of articles from my favourite blogs in the weekends.
What is your one piece of advice to someone who is just starting their entrepreneurial journey?
Keep on learning and stick to your guns.
