WHERE DID YOU GET THE ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT FROM?
My dad was always a huge inspiration. He showed me that its essential to believe in yourself and the destination and that the journey only becomes reality be persevering.
He always encouraged me to seize opportunities, not seizing a moment and giving it your best shot may be regretted for life...
COULD YOU SHARE SOMETHING FROM YOUR "BUCKET LIST" WITH US?
My bucket list is to stop deforestation on Borneo, develop new sustainable forests that give more to local communities then logging or palm-oil.
Why? Trees create clouds. Oceans, life on land, temperature on the ground, everything we need to thrive on earth has a direct correlation to the power of clouds, and with the polar ice caps melting at their current rate, we need clouds...
TOP 3 PLACES ON THE GLOBE THAT YOU HAVEN’T CONQUERED YET BUT WOULD LOVE TO?
Sydney, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
TELL US ABOUT THE INNER CIRCLE
The Inner Circle was founded in 2012 in Amsterdam, after finding a gap in the dating industry for a business that could make quality connections between discerning singles. CEO David Vermeulen came from a long-term relationship back in 2011 and started looking around on online dating apps. He found the websites to be very anonymous and provided little common ground between himself and other members. This triggered him to create an app that connects life loving singles. It has since launched in 30 other major cities, including Paris, London, New York, San Francisco, LA, Madrid, and Milan.
The name Inner Circle is mostly self-explanatory – The Inner Circle conjures up a sense of a close network of like-minded people who are on the same page in life.
The company prides itself in being an inclusive, vibrant start-up where individuality, creative thinking and the scope to use one’s own initiative are highly valued but where teamwork satisfies the company’s key goals of delivering a top-notch members’ service. The team, which is split between two centers, London and Amsterdam, regularly meets up for company get-togethers to cement relationships, the latest of which will be a ski weekend to celebrate the 2017 successes.
